Elks National Foundation Most Valuable Student (MVS) Scholarships:
Point Pleasant Lodge #1698 sponsored several students who attained District, State & Natioanl level recognition for the Elks National Foundation's Most Valuable Student Scholarships. The Elks National Foundation has given over $4.6 million in scholarships annually in support of higher education with programs such as the Most Valuable Student which is open to all graduating high school seniors. The following students received State & National recognition.
William Flanders from Point Pleasant Beach H.S. has been named a National Runner Up for ENF Most Valuable Student (MVS) Contest for New Jersey receiving a $4,000 scholarship.
Connor Brenna also of Point Pleasant Beach H.S. was the top Boy in the NJ State MVS contest receiving a $1,000 scholarship.
Lauren Ludwig of Point Pleasant Borough H.S. will receive a $700 NJ MVS contest award.
